Terms and Conditions

By commissioning a career web portfolio service by MyResume-Online.com (trading as Top Margin), the client acknowledges that fees are for personal services and as such are non-refundable. Full payment is to be made before work commences.

If a client decides to discontinue use of the services they have commissioned for any reason, the client will be billed for the amount of time spent on their order prior and up to the time of cancellation. This includes the information gathering session and any telephone calls, briefings, e-mails or facsimiles. Notification of this decision is the responsibility of the client and monies for time spent on their behalf up to this notification becomes immediately payable. Failure by the client to notify MyResume-Online.com (Trading as Top Margin) of their decision will not negate payment in full. The rate charged prior to the provision of the first draft is $55 per hour pro-rata.

After the client supplies the appropriate information, MyResume-Online.com (Trading as Top Margin) will agree to a time when the first draft of the web portfolio will become available for the client's review, feedback and correction. All work will be completed in a timely manner subject to acts of God, equipment failure, or other circumstances beyond MyResume-Online.com's (Trading as Top Margin) control.

MyResume-Online.com (Trading as Top Margin) advises that estimates and prices are good for 60 days from the time of order placement. Current prices apply if an order is "shelved" and resumed after 60 days.

MyResume-Online.com (Trading as Top Margin) retains intellectual property ownership of all content produced. Each website template remains the property of their respective designers. Clients are permitted to reproduce content in documentation and can alter those documents. As the template licence remains the property of the designer, clients are not permitted to change the design or use the template on more than one website simultaneously. Clients are not permitted to transfer ownership to another person or use the template or content as their own.

MyResume-Online.com (Trading as Top Margin) is not liable for information obtained from a client that is inaccurate or incorrect. We do not research any information given to us by the client. MyResume-Online.com's (Trading as Top Margin) liability is limited to completion of work and we assume no liability for untruthful information provided to us.

MyResume-Online.com (Trading as Top Margin) does not guarantee job placement, nor do we infer employment success as a result of using our services. Success depends on the effort, commitment and diligence clients place into integrating our services with aggressive job search campaigns including networking, cold calling, and responding to advertisements. Outcomes and successes are affected by many external variables including market volatility, local and national economies, market saturation for a particular industry, and a client’s level of experience, adaptability to workforce changes, skill sets, or continued motivation
