New Course Launched for Professional Resume Writers, July 11, 2007
Career Directors International in conjunction with Gayle Howard is thrilled to announce the launch of Gayle’s new e-course for professional writers (or aspiring professional resume writers): PS....You’re a Resume Expert: Resume Mastery for Professional Writers. The self-paced e-course is full of instructions, writing tips, ideas, planning strategies and more and is a compendium of the most effective strategies Gayle has developed after more than 17 years in the resume writing trade.

Endorsed by Career Directors International as its official ecourse, the training is also available for non-members of the association or to aspiring writers who hope to get a business in resume writing off the ground.

Upon successful completion of the course including tests and final examination that composes 75% of the final score, graduates can be given the opportunity to be fast tracked straight to CDI’s certification examination. TORI Award Nominees Announced, June 28, 2007
Laura DeCarlo, President of Career Directors International, today announced the nominees for the upcoming TORI Awards. “While we say it each year” Ms DeCarlo announced, “This year represented the absolute best resume submission quality, and the greatest competition, we have seen so far. In fact, the panel of judges deliberated extensively on the most competitive categories! Australian resume writers dominated the awards this year with Gayle Howard winning six nominations out of eight categories. Nominations were for: Best Executive Resume, Best International Resume, Best Professional Resume, New Graduate Resume, Best Career Reentry Resume, and Best Creative Resume. Winners will be announced Career Directors International conference in San Antonio in October 2007.

Gayle Howard wins 3 Awards in PRWRA's TORI™ (Toast of the Resume Industry) Awards.
Gayle Howard added to her record tally of industry-based awards today, winning three coveted TORI awards for Best Executive Resume, Best Professional Resume, and Best New Graduate Resume for the 2004 year.
